The Poinsettia

The Poinsettia

It's always a joy to see plants as a special part of our holiday celebrations. One of those plants is the ever-popular Poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima). Native to Central America and a part of Christmas celebrations in Mexico since the 17th century, it took a discovery by a U.S. ambassador in 1828 to finally expose it's beauty to America.
