A Bloom Chart for You

I love keeping track of what is blooming in my garden graphically, so wanted to share my simple chart to capture this information. You can either fill bloom time in with X's or fill the boxes in with the appropriate colors. It's fun to see your garden at a glance when each month is complete. This chart will also help you fill in any bloom gaps when visiting your local garden center, plus I enjoy comparing bloom times year to year to see if anything shifts. Click on the image below to download a .pdf of this chart for yourself:

This is a wonderful way to learn the plants in your garden.  As you walk through each day to mark the chart it's easy to learn details you may have missed in the past. Enjoy!
