Hello Lisa.

I've been thinking a lot lately about why some gardens feel right and others just...don't. And it’s rarely the plants.

What I've noticed, after years of designing and teaching design, is that the spaces that feel intentional have something the others are missing. Not more flowers. Not a bigger budget.

They have structure. A sense that someone thought about the space before they ever chose a single plant.

Gardens work the same way rooms work. They need edges. They need purpose. They need floors, walls and ceilings.

⚘

When you start to see a garden as a series of rooms rather than one big open space, something shifts. Suddenly that awkward corner has possibilities. A small patio becomes a vibrant living space. Even that long narrow yard gets interesting.

⚘

It's one of the first things I teach, because it changes how you look at everything.

Which brings me to something I'd love to invite you to.

Over the next couple of weeks I'm hosting a free live class called the Garden Room Masterclass, and this is exactly what we're covering. How to break any outdoor space into purposeful garden rooms. How to think like a designer from the very first look at a site. And a simple way to start seeing (and sketching) spaces with more confidence.

All times are US Central. Choose the one that works for you. Click the link below for more information.

>>Save your spot right here

Tuesday, Sept 15 | 4:00 PM
Saturday, Sept 19 | 9:00 AM
Thursday, Sept 24 | Noon

⚘

May you always create beautiful outdoor spaces.

From the studio + garden,

Lisa

.....

P.S. Not sure if this masterclass is for you? It's free and live...the best way I know to find out.

P.P.S. Know someone who needs this? Forward this along so they can grab a spot, too.
