A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN DESIGN MEMBERSHIP
ENROLLMENT OPEN SEPTEMBER 22-30, 2022
This new monthly membership is called THE GARDEN DESIGN COLLECTIVE. The goal is to share one garden design topic each month so we can learn and discuss at a slower pace.
Garden design is such a large, exciting profession and I've always dreamed of focusing on one aspect at a time with a diverse group of fellow designers. Collectively, we have many experiences that can strengthen our design perspective as a whole. The power of the group is amazing.
SLOW + STEADY
It's important to note that this membership will not cover all aspects of design in a short period like a course would. This will be slow and steady over many months.
I see this membership as an extension of your design education (whether you've taken college classes, online classes or are self-taught through books). It will still be geared towards the beginner, but allow you the time to ask questions and dive deeper into topics, plus give you a platform to ask questions about your own design work.
HOW WILL THIS MEMBERSHIP WORK?
MONTHLY FORMAT
At the beginning of each month (starting October 1) a new garden design topic will be released. Content will be shared the following ways:
Garden Design Guide (a pretty PDF)
An Educational Video
Simple Design Activity
Live Q+A
An Awesome Community (I'll initiate topics, you can initiate topics, plus you can share your designs for feedback from peers)
A few times a year I may ask guest speakers to join us too.
BROADER CATEGORIES
We will cover many garden design topics over many months, so I've created broader categories to organize everything as we progress. I'm hoping this smaller library will help you reference past topics easier. Below are some of these broader categories, but please note that monthly topics will be more specific and fit into those. Over time each of these will grow into a diverse and resourceful collection of garden design topics. These broader categories may change and grow as we progress through the membership.
